The EOC is coming!  What can you do to prepare?

1) Be sure to attend all help sessions that are offered.  You may see Boot Camp sessions or other tutoring opportunities on your Class Connect schedule... GO TO THEM!  Ask lots of questions!

2) Preview the new problem types.  The questions are not all going to be multiple choice or fill in a number.  You can see some worked examples here.

3) Try an online practice test.

• STAAR practice test

• To access the practice test, leave "Guest User" and "Guest Session" switched to ON, then click Sign In at the bottom.  Don't worry, you are not actually signing in to anything official.  Select "EOC" for the grade, then "STAAR Released and Practice Tests".  You can choose from several available practice tests!  If the link above does not work, you can also view printable tests at https://www.texasassessment.gov/practice-tests.html

4) As you are going through the STAAR practice test, make a note of any problems that you get stuck on.  Take a look in the list below for help videos for that type of problem!  

5) If you'd like more practice, try Khan Academy - there are lots of practice problems and they offer hints and videos to help when you don't understand how to work the practice problems.
